In both 2024 and 2025 we recorded the two highest prices achieved at auction outside London: the Straus pocket watch at $2,450,000 and the Rostron Tiffany watch at $2,000,000.

Andrew Aldridge is a fourth-generation auctioneer who is widely regarded as the leading authority in the world in the valuation of Titanic memorabilia. He is a specialist in the sale of iconic collector’s items and has worked on the sales of numerous world-record-breaking objects, from the Titanic violin at over £1m to the world’s most expensive postcard at £90,000.
Andrew’s expertise has been sought by museums worldwide and he continues to be in demand globally, with a network of media contacts including NBC’s Today Programme, Fox and Friends, ABC’s Good Morning America and BBC, Sky, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 in the UK. He has an honours degree in fine arts valuation and is a full member of the Fine Arts Division of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Society of Fine Art Auctioneers.
Chrissie Aldridge adds another dimension to the company. Before the birth of her two children she travelled the world working for a music production company, but swapped the glamorous locations of Las Vegas and Rome for rural Wiltshire to bring her unique skill set to the family business. As Director of Online Sales she runs our online business, a vital element of the company which now accounts for over 40% of our auction sales.
