You can buy at our auctions in a number of different ways.
Leave a commission bid
You can leave us a commission bid over the phone, via email or fill out a form in person. Simply state the maximum price you would like to pay for a lot and we will purchase it for you for the lowest possible price whilst taking the reserve price and other bids into account.
Bid live online
Register and bid live online through this website — lots bought via our own online bidding service carry an additional fee of 3% plus VAT (3.6% in total).
Bid over the telephone
Book a telephone line before the sale stating which lots you would like to bid for and we will call you when the lot you are interested in is coming up, so you can bid by speaking to someone whilst the auction is in progress. This service is only available for lots with an estimate over £500.
Buyer’s commission
Buyer’s commission is charged at a rate of 23.5% plus VAT at the current rate. We accept debit cards, credit cards or bank transfer. We do not accept cash. Cards issued outside the EU will attract a 3.6% card fee.
Collection & delivery
It is your responsibility to arrange collection of your purchases within one week of the sale.
We can offer postage and packing for small items under 1kg and smaller than Royal Mail’s small parcel size (length 45cm, width 35cm, depth 16cm) with a value of under £500. The charges are £20 plus VAT for packing, and £10.75 for Special Delivery. We only post using Special Delivery.
